top end is loaded with teams that have lost but they have beaten D1 schools that have good records for playing cruddy D1 and D2 schools....thus giving out huge amounts of computer points.

Both Gallipolis and Jackson are rooting for Clinton Massie to take care of Washinton CH this week.

If Chillicothe wins out they might still sneak in.

Gallipolis needs to win the rest of their games and hope Dayton Dunbar loses one of their next 2 games versus 5-2 Cincy Taft or 5-2 Thurgood Marshall.

Also you'll want to root for Oak Hill to beat New Richmond (who is right there with Gallia but hasn't beaten anyone)

I think if Jackson wins 2 of the final 3 they could sneak in....win all 3 and possibly host the first round

If Gallia Academy winning out i see them moving up to possibly the 7th spot. With Warren and Logan both being Div2 Schools.
I really think it is a stretch to think we can pull off the Jackson upset. They handled an Ironton team who totally out maned and dominated us Any thing can happen and i am not a Rah Rah guy, just honest. What we had better watch is getting beat by a very capable Warren team who is 4-3 and Portsmouth.
Many of our GREAT Blue Devil fans have overlooked Portsmouth in the past!!!!

For us to beat Jackson it would be a HUGE upset.

I think the top four in this region are pretty much locked in.

Roger Bacon beat Hamilton Badin tonight, so they will likely stay in the #1 spot for now. They'll probably lose to Alter next week, and then win in Week 10, which should keep them in the Top 2, I would think.

Springfield Shawnee came through with a big win against Tecumseh tonight, which should allow them to challenge Bacon for the #1 seed. The Braves will also beat Bellefontaine and Stebbins to finish at 9-1.

Not sure if Eaton won tonight, but I assume that they handled 2-5 Franklin. They have a tough game with Valley View next week, but I think they will go 10-0 and end up with the #3 or #4 seed.

McNicholas is sitting at #4 and has a couple fairly tough games left with Carroll and Badin, but I think they'll win out. Even if they don't win out, they might still stay at #4, but I haven't even attempted to do the math yet.

Seeds #5-8 are up for grabs, with Jackson, Wyoming, Dunbar, GAHS, WCH, and possibly New Richmond being the contenders.

Wyoming will probably win out and finish 9-1, Dunbar had what appeared to be a difficult game tonight and a tough one next week also, Jackson and GAHS will settle things Week 10 (but must first win during Week 9), WCH lost tonight but should win out, and New Richmond has a date with Oak Hill next week. Still a lot of different things in play with regard to the last four spots.

You have Bacon right on, Alter should beat em . I was surpreised by the win over Tecumseh, Shawnee is legit.I agree with Eaton beating VV. Dayton Carroll will be hard for McNich to handleCW 9-1 check! I like Jackson to win out as well.Court House still has to travel to London, never easy for them and Oak Hill seems to have rebounded from thier loss and wiill be a tough one for NR

haha...That's putting it mildly.

gahs4ever,

8-2 may get Jackson in, but I do think it would be very tight, depending on how the other teams in the region finish out their seasons. Hopefully the Ironmen just win out so we don't even have to think about that. That said, making the playoffs would be nice, but I think this team is completely focused on winning an SEOAL championship and winning it outright. The next two weeks should be a lot of fun.

Thanks. Looks like all the playoff contenders in this region, with the exception of WCH, were all victorious this weekend.

Clinton Massie is the real deal, but you're exactly right. WCH might be on the outside looking in now, no matter what they do the last two weeks.
