Looking at Turf scores from this year and last..........Over 4 games the Pirates are averaging 47 points per game on the turf....... They will win if they maintain that average!!! Go Burg!!

That doesnt mean anything... Valley is averaging 48 points over 5 games on the turf this year... both teams are fast and play great on the turf so i dont think it will be a factor in this game..

Interesting...

Since 2001 Burg has lost less than 2 games twice. 2004, and 2008.

Either way, none of that has anything to do with tonight. Burg is above mediocre.

Yes it is on VSN. Should have the replay up within a half hour of the game ending.

Will do! My neighbor is messing with it as we speak.....trying to get it going! We're tailgating and then watching the game. Pics to follow unless some type of technical difficulty comes, then it's to the laptop!

Shank is making a major statement about his case for SOC II Back of the Year as well as SE District D-V Offensive Player of the Year tonight. As much as it pains me because it's at the expense of my alma mater, you still have to take your hat off to the kid for his performance.

That kid is a STUD!

Valley has turned it over 3 times and are still within striking distance. Valley has to score coming out of that half...or it may be over.

Congrats to Burg, they beat Valley up on the line, and Shank ran WILD. STUD!! Valley went up 7-0, and then Burg tied it....and it seemed like the same ol story and Valley had a 2nd quarter IMPLOSION. Valley ran 3 consecutive plays, resulting in 3 turnovers 2 of which resulted in TDs for Burg (one returned for a TD and the other at the 19 and Burg scored a few plays later)

I will say I was pround of Valley for NOT quitting when Burg made the typical Burg run....No excuses in this game as the BURG running game was DOMINANT.

I look for both of these teams to make some noise in the playoffs!!

Good Luck Burg, and GO Valley!

Wow.....Shank had 33 carries for 334 yds and 4 TDs. He will definitely be a deserving candidate for player of the week!

Wow Shank! Valley showed me something though. There's no way i thought they had a shot at coming back from 3 consecutive fumbles. Burg did what good teams do make turnovers into points... Good job burg!

Congrats to the Burg. They absolutely took advantage of every opportunity and owned the football game at the line of scrimmage from what I could hear on the radio and the updates I was receiving. Shank had just an absolutely phenominal game.

Good luck to both teams next week, and hopefully beyond!!!
