That's what I've been hearing, but I was impressed tonight. They should do just fine.

Jackson is replacing a lot from last year's team too. Overall, they're a pretty young/inexperienced group. We'll see how they respond to adversity after tonight, because things certainly didn't go as they would have liked.

I think I'll pass on that. The second half of the N-Y scrimmage was a sufficient wake-up call. No need for a repeat of 2010.

I haven't seen Wellston yet this year but from the Ironmen scrimmage I did see I'm not sure. Wellston will be at home which can always be tuff. Jackson will need to come out quick however I'm not sure they are a big play threat as much as in the past. They do have a pretty good running stable in Landrum and Griffith and McCorkle but the line looked a little suspect. Don't thick the full starting lineup was in on the line so that may make a difference.
Looking for the the regular season streak to continue for Jackson but wouldn't bet money on it as I see this game as a toss up all depending on turnovers.
I'll be rooting ya on Ironmen!

I believe Jackson's offense will spread the field and run right up the middle. I hope they rotate the RB's in alot, they got plenty to choose from. I still stand by my score of Jackson 35, Wellston 14.

I'll be the first one to admit that I expected Jackson to perform much better against Nelsonville-York. That said, a scrimmage is a scrimmage. If Jackson continues to struggle the next couple weeks, then I'll be worried.

This year's Jackson team has to realize that the success of the last couple years is a nice memory, but it doesn't mean anything with regard to this season. No one is gonna roll over for them because of who they WERE. They have to go out and show everyone who they ARE. After a good start against N-Y, the intensity and effort from the Ironmen just seemed to fade away. Can't have that on Saturday.
