axe, i think people fail to realize just how small ironton is , they themselves are only 2 players from d5. and with the ohssa going to 7 divisions next year. ironton will be d5, no fault in their schedule, can i find, we lose bishop watterson this year. but picked up d4 amanda clearcreek, d1 columbus st. charles, and raceland, ky.for next yearand oak hill has only lost 1 game.so we have 10 games next year. we just could not find a 10th game.

next year's schedule will look like this, but not in this order

columbus st. charles
amanda clearcreek
wheelersburg
russell, ky
ashland, ky
raceland, ky
columbus bishop hartley
oak hill
portsmouth
johnson central, ky

and ironton sets right on the ohio river, so these ky. teams are good quality matchups. and have great gates.

my orthopedic surgeon that did my steel knee, bob fada will be at this game , bob was number 64 on the 85 chicago bears, then before the playoffs started he was traded to the kansas city chiefs. da bears went on to win the super bowl. he has a son on watterson, and also a son at ohio state , that is redshirted.

This will be a good game if and only if Ironton can stop the run. I watch the Watterson and Hartly game and if it wasn't from a few turn overs in the first half by Watterson the score would be the other way around. I thought one bad call hurt Watterson on the first drive they go in for what appeared a TD only to be called a fumble in the end zone and Hartly recovered the ball. Both of these teams are fast and I mean fast. They hit the hole quick and if you don't wrap them up their gone. They can throw the long bombs too. I will be down to watch the Tigers this week after missing the last two games. That's the first games I have missed in the last 3 years and I travel from Springfield to see the Tigers. Just wish they would do something to perk up the fans before the game. How about a Big Tiger Roar over those speakers or some music. Take a lesson from the other schools you go to watch. Hope all our boys are healthy and ready. Go TIGERS.

That must be his son:

D1 College Recruits

Craig Fada - The Ohio State University (football).......2011 Division III Central District Defensive Player of the Year!

Jack Gammon - Marshall University (football)

Ironton will play a better game and may be more focussed on what needs done.
Every team hates a loss and for good reason but if that loss can be built upon then that loss becomes a lesson.
GO TIGERS LET"S HERE THAT ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
