I seriously doubt that the boys in blue need any motivation to be up for Jackson. Having said that, I for one am glad that such things take place, it's all part of the fun of high school football.

Blue Devils are prepared and ready for a complete game. Car or no car. Thats just for the fans who want to have some fun. I may up my prediction to 14 points plus, GAHS.

Jackson Vs Gallia use to be the biggest game for both teams.. Now the players need twitter & other outside activities to get motivated? How sad...

Well with twitter they can trash talk in real time instead of over a phone or by word of mouth. I'd say it intensifies the game since each side can know what the other is saying in a matter of seconds.

No extra motivation needed. All the important players here remember what happened up there last year, and i am sure no one forgets jackson celebrating on our field 2 years ago. Hope kids on both sides play hard and have a lot of fun. I hope the players on both sides act with class. And i hope the parents don't embarrass themselves to bad. I would hope that they would act with class also but being around this game for a few years there will be enough idiots in the stands on both sides.

Good luck to the seniors play your hearts out tomorrow night. you should be proud win or lose you have made a lot of people eat there words this year and you have been focused and up to the task each week. We will be rooting for you. It has been a pleasure to watch you play this year. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Devils will win. the only question is by how much.

Whether it's talking trash on Twitter, having pep rallies, making T-shirts, or whatever else, it's all just part of the excitement leading up to the game. Once these guys step between the lines, none of the other stuff matters...Just executing your gameplan and playing every down like it's your last.

This series is the very definiton of a rivalry. Two of the SE Ohio's best programs traditionally, dozens of SEOAL titles, probably about 1,000 all-time wins between the two proud programs. More often than not, it's an all-out battle when the Ironmen and Blue Devils get together. I've learned over the years to expect the unexpected in this game, because that's almost always what happens. Jackson has been fortunate to start a streak of its own in recent years against the Blue Devils after experiencing some heartbreaking losses in the previous decade. The Ironmen have won the last three head-to-head battles, and 2010 and 2011 were in convincing fashion to claim outright titles. You can bet that the GAHS kids remember those games, and this time, they're looking to win the SEOAL outright.

Right now, though, Jackson is still the defending champion. If they win tomorrow night, they get a share of the crown, and they would also have beaten the team that they're sharing with. A title is a title, but if Jackson wins this game, you can bet they'll feel MUCH better about their championship than the Blue Devils will if they have to share. That's the motivation for Jackson. This is YOUR title until it is taken away from you. GAHS has a piece of it, but the rest of it is YOURS. Don't let them have it all to themselves!!!

GO IRONMEN - BEAT THE BLUE DEVILS!!!

I believe that Gallia will win this game but from a Athens standpoint I'll be pulling for a Jackson win and the points that would go along with it. Good luck to both schools!
