St.Clairsville defeats Johnstown Monroe
I predicted this correctly
Monroe was good but the score against Ironton did not reflect their dominance. Irontons injuries killed them. This post is for the Johnnie fans who acted like Ironton wasnt good. Congratulations St.Clairsville
The only question is who is playing Hartley in the finals

I agree injuries did kill Ironton but I will give Johnies credit they played a better game than Ironton but to win in the playoffs you do need more than 27 players to play the game depth killed Ironton to.

For a rebuilding team or one that was said to be J-town was able to put together a good season.

Johnstown did put it on Ironton two straight years and with the pregame talk that the ones here had to endure, I think they had every right to brag a little.
But not too surprising, good for the Red Devils to get over the hump. Would like to see them represent the region well next Friday night.

I was at the game Johnstown Monroe vs Ironton. I thought that other than the first drive ,Ironton was just outplayed . Being from Wellston I know all about the number game .This season swe dressed 35 - 27 on any given friday and that included our freshman(13) . The thing I saw from Ironton (and I try to see them once a year) they were not as physical as in past . They just didnt seem to be as agressive as in years past. I did like the new offensive set I saw from them . I am for old school football ,but you have to be versitile to and it looks like the Tigers are trying to be on offense.
Good Luck Tigers next year !

Re: St.Clairsville defeats Johnstown Monroe
Stop with the excuses. Small division minor league football often is limited to 25-35 players . This isn't D-I or D-II football. The tiggers simply got beat by a much better program that is average at best. As for my pick, I also picked St. C. to win, but heres where the parade stops. All 3 other regions are much tougher than this one and St.C. gets beat next game.

Only if they beat Clarksville Clinton-Massie first - who have proved themselves very well so far. They're located not far from Wilmington - just a few miles east of I 71 just off old RT 22/3 about halfway between Col and Cincy. That's my home area and I have friends and former classmates there - I'm rooting for C-M.
