Amanda Clearcreek gave Marion Franklin a scare last night for a while, and Hartley and Marion Franklin played darn near even in an epic match-up at the first of the year.

The same AC that beat a LU team by not much and West hung around with LU most of the night, arguably not playing one of the best games early in the year. So stranger things have happened than West competing with Hartley.

Ironton beats AC is another somewhat common opponent if you take a look at the same teams West and Ironton have played.

Yeah, yeah, yeah I know common opponents don't necessarily mean squat and usually don't, so spare me the ridicule lol....I am just saying it is not inconceivable that West doesn't come out and hang around and find some way to be in this is all. Good luck to the Senators tonight.

ive been saying that also that anything can happen, good luck West and shockem1

Yes, it is. Unfortunately. I love the scioto county folk. Portsmouth reminds me of the the Appalachian city where I grew up. This one won't be close.

And which "city" would that be? That is an oxymoron.

Different state, same story. Regional manufacturing center. Then the interstates and the corporations went somewhere else.

Senators look tough so far. Band's Drum major can jump a fence like you wouldn't believe. The athletes have got to be studs.

28-7 Hartley, West playing well, just no answer to the Hawk running game. Hartley is a force!
