Zane Trace's new turf looks awesome but do not like the track around the field it puts the fans too far away from the action just my opinion

No need to worry about the remnants of Hurricane Harvey you need to worry about Hurricane Drew!!

Should be a good night for football. Harvey has moved out for the most part and the field is in great shape.
Can Waverly stop the run?
Can ZT stop the pass?

Yeah never understood, putting in so much money for new turf and stadium and then you put small area for seating for everyone. Now that's just going off the picture maybe this isn't the case but visitor seating looks SO SO tiny seems like wrong place to cut a corner. Home side looks ok at best, but that's just going off this picture could be different in person. Hoping it's not like P. West field where you feel like you're a mile from the field

Not as far away as West but it is small.
With the home bleachers in between those two buildings they could make that the visitor side and build new bigger, better home bleachers on the current visitors side.
Maybe have plans for future seating expansion.

Very nice looking turf and good for ZT for having a great field to play but as far as being a spectator the track around the field puts the fans too far away from the action would have been alot better without the track

A track only takes up about 30 yards. Good eyes no problem.

I guess some fans want to be so close to the action that they get wet from slobber being knocked out of a player.

Final: Waverly 44 - ZT 31
The Tigers move to 2-0, the game wasn't as close as the score makes it seem. ZT's first string O added two late touchdowns on Waverlys 2nd string D. Overall a nice game for Waverly.

Waverly dominated. Kritzy with over 200 yards on 36 carries and two TD's. Howell with 185 yards through the air and 4 TD's.
Tiger defense with a nice job. Like was said two late ZT TD's on the Tiger second string.

They really leaned on Kritzy in that second half to keep the clock moving. Waverly's 2nd string went in with 4min left in the 4th. Zane Trace really took advantage of that with trying an onside kick throwing a couple of deep passes and continuing to hand the ball to Games.

ZT scored with 2:28 to play and around .30 seconds remaining.

Why do teams leave the first team offense in to score against the 2nd team?
Maybe once, but not twice.
Waverly was in control of this one from the kickoff.

It doesn't accomplish a thing. Sure didn't make the first string any better. Play some younger kids to get them some varsity game time.

Why does every Waverly thread turn into complaining about something from the game after? Last week was a bad call, this week is about a coaching decision by ZT. Next week will be that Unioto's QB is #33 and not a tradition number for a quarterback (I'm guessing)

I didn't go, but it looks like Waverly had their way from the opening kick. Too bad Waverly will lose playoff points based on style points though!
