Union Local hangs on to win 21-14 and defeats Bellaire. This certainly helps Monroe Central out a lot!

It looks like the Northwest vs River Valley game will most likely decide if Oak Hill or Belpre gets the 8 sees unless there is a major upset with Academy or Ready happens.

It could also decide whether Nelsonville York or Ridgewood is the #6 seed. I think MC has a good hold on the #5 spot with Union Locals win yesterday.

4) Centerburg (8-2) 15.50
5) Monroe Central (Woodsfield) (8-2) 15.29
6) Ridgewood (West Lafayette) (9-1) 14.85
7) Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville) (7-3) 14.70
8) Belpre (8-2) 13.10

I can't figure out where Drew is getting his average for NY. I have them at either 14.85 or 14.90 depending on how their 2nd level points shake out from their defeated league opponents and if River Valley beats Northwest. It is possible that Ridgewood and NY both finish tied for the 6th spot at 14.85. Then it would go to third level points according to the OHSAA tiebreaker rules.

A few "toss ups" that we have looked at that could change things:

If Northwest beats River Valley:

Move Oak Hill to 13.46 and NY to 14.45. That would move Ridgewood to #6 and probably go to Grandview and bump NY down to #7 and bring them to Lucasville

If Chesapeake beats Waverly:

Those two wins should be enough for Oak Hill to catch Belpre for #8 as I would project Oak hill to 13.91.

Is that with or without a Wellston win vs. Vinton County?

I've got a feeling there are going to be a couple major upsets this week. I think Academy is beating Bexley. I also think Ready is going to play Hartley closer than people think. Weather may help Ready also. Oak Hill, Belpre and Nelsonville-York better pray these don't happen, or they will all be out.

Ready got beat by 3-6 Bellaire 30-0. I've seen Bellaire play multiple times, there is a .0000000000000001 chance that they beat Hartley. Its going to be whatever Hartley wants it to be.
