That Camino kid is a heckuva DB for Frontier. Has speed and instincts. Cougars now 3-0..

It all depends on how well Mitch Reynolds can throw the ball when Cougs need to move the chains.

I still think Monroe is the best team in the league.....
Losing a game in OT that we dominated in the 2nd half shouldn't change who the top team is.

C'mon man you were beat Caldwell is the better team. Noles lost on its own home field and Caldwell almost doubled them in offense.

Care to explain how MC dominated in the second half? Was it when MC was inside the 10 yard line and Caldwell forced a turnover on downs? Or was it when Caldwell marched from inside the 5 yard line all the way down to the Seminoles redzone to attempt a field goal? Caldwell went through, around, and all over MC's defense. That defense that Caldwell hadn't seen anything like allowed over 450 total yards. Hooper was under pressure all night. IMO, MC was lucky to even still be in that game. This year, Caldwell was the better team. And im sure next year will be a great game as well. Good luck to MC the rest of the year.

Monroe fans tend to be pretty knowledgeable about these things, so maybe you moved in from another area or something. Get one of your fellow Seminoles to explain to you that in football, scoring more points than the other team means you're better than they are. Don't worry though. Monroe Central will be the de-facto team to beat in The PVC for the foreseeable future. If you're still feeling low, you can talk about your record versus the league in the past decade or 20 years or whatever.

Still wondering why Monroe Central went for '2' in the OT.

I believe the kicker was hurting some. He's a lineman that I think plays both ways...it had been a long night.

Halfway point....

1. Monroe (I still think the best team didn't win on the scoreboard)
2. Caldwell ( better than I thought they would be, but still think they are overrated )
3. Frontier ( weak schedule so far)
4. BT ( I think they are a young and will get better each game)
5. FF ( would be last but the league still has the zeps in it)
6. Zeps ( when are they going to get any better. Not looking good at all.)

You were out gained nearly 3-1 on your home field. You have a great coach and a terrific back. Central owned the third quarter, Caldwell the other three. You lost. That is the only thing that matters. Any non-biased observer will tell you the better and more talented team won, you did well to put yourself in position to win, that is a testament to your program and your coaching staff.
1. Caldwell
2. Monroe

Everyone Else way below. Neither team will have a league game within a running clock the rest of the way.

Fort Frye in my opinion is the 3rd best PVC team

As of right now, it would be hard to argue against that, seeing as how they just handed Frontier their first loss of the season. Huge 3 week stretch for the Cougars as they have Calwell, Valley, and MC all coming to pay a visit.

Fort Frye has a decent program going and some good young talent, but until they find some bigger, stronger linemen somewhere, they're going to play second or third fiddle in the league.
