Yes, calling the defense.

Well I guess if there is a tie for the varsity and the reserves score twice then I'd say Ridgewood win the scrimmage.

I believe Newark Catholic host Triad next.
Triad I believe according to everything that was posted dominated N.C. last season , in the live scrimmage.

I hope West gets healthy this week in practice and opens the eyes of the SOC after Friday.

I haven't seen too much about either team. Good luck West. Sounds like a down year for NC.

A down year for NC is still a good year to most.

The talk from a few at West is were are gonna kill this team at NC. They look bad on film according to several here at West. A down year for a D6 private school, I agree with local, good time to get them! Good luck West!

The new coaches for West are first-class, but this will still be some tough-slaying for the Senators. Good measuring-stick game for sure...

I'm as optimistic as anyone after the two scrimmages but we haven't done anything that counts yet. NC is a perennial power in this state and they won't go down without a fight.

If you remember two years ago we returned bunches of kids and size from an 10-2 team. We looked good in our scrimmage against D2 Wilmington. We went 4-6 on the season.

Last year we looked descent against Ironton. Fairland looked terrible (or worse than that) against Minford. We would beat Fairland easy we thought. Fairland beat us and we beat Minford. Sometimes you can't tell until the games are played.

It is decent not descent. I don't know the coaches but it is great Coach Johnson's dad decided to come too. Black76 he lives on the west side with his son and does not teach anywhere now, just coaches at West as far as I know. Now I could be wrong on that.

Good luck tonight West! I read the PDT article in West and was surprised to read they had only one returner on offense? What about Davis Who has been staring since he was a freshman, Welch who has been playing varsity since freshman, Hurd, Davis the receiver, Howell the other receiver, Hurd, etc.! Anyway Good Luck Team! Only hearing phenomenal things about this team and how hard they worked with the Johnson's at the helm. Won't get to see this game but sure to see one soon enough!

Whether NC is down this year or not, its time to put up or shut up.

West opens with a legitimate team unlike most of the other SOC II schools (other than Burg vs Ironton). Kudos to their administration for thinking outside the box and scheduling a solid a solid opponent week 1.

Best of luck to the Siders. If they pull this one out it looks very good for all of the SOC II.

Does anyone know if there is a live radio stream for this game?

I believe you may have overlooked the Valley- Portsmouth game. Portsmouth IMO will give West all they want. As will Valley! :-D
