I was not able to see SG play last night but heard they look pretty good. It also appers that this could be one of Southerns best teams ever. Because I am a Rebel fan and they are home I will go with SG. If memory serves ,The game last year was actually pretty tight until SG turned the ball over while inside Southern's 10 yard line.

Here is one prediction that will be true. Parking at SG this year will be a nightmare because of the construction on part of the new spring sports complex. The baseball field is currently being built on the exact spot of the old high school and that use to account for at least half of the parking. If you don't get there early be prepared to take a nice long walk to the field. I heard fire department may try to shuttle some folks.

I'm gonna have to go with Southern I think their running game will eventually take over but I think South Gallia keeps it close until the 4thqtr. then the Tornadoes 13seniors rally the troops and get the win

Southern-28

South Gallia-14

Good luck to both teams

Going with Coach Peck and them Rebels in a close one. I think they are better than what a lot of people think. Good luck to both teams.

I always enjoy watching these games, two teams that struggle year in and year out.The kids on both sides will be pumped and it always seems to make for an exciting game. The Rebels in a close on.

While I agree hat SG struggles some years, as do many, they have made the playoffs 3 times since 2005 so I would not label them as a perennial doormat.

Goodluck to both teams this Friday but a little more luck for the Rebels! Should be a big excited crowd back in the woods behind SGHS!

Who is the QB for the Rebels this year?

I seen where Spurlock and White are playing, which immediately makes them better from a year ago ... but who is under center?

Landon Hutchison. He was the freshman starter at QB last year. He has looked pretty good vs River Valley and Symmes valley. I wasn't able to make the Sciotoville game.
