back to back sacks by Beechwood, 4th and very long for Ironton. Screen pass comes up short, will be another turnover on downs. 35 - 19 Beechwood, 5:46 left. Not going to be enough, Ironton looking to start the season 0 - 3.

Beechwood with an interception to close the game. 35 - 19

Ironton 0 - 3, next week at Ashland. Ashland destroying Russell this week.

First time since 1968 that Ironton has started 0 - 3.

This is a talented Ironton team imagine next season Ironton loses a lot of key players. Maybe 3-7 next season. It has to be time to get a new offensive coordinator at the least. Mark Lutz??? Come on if Wheelersburgs coach had this team, I would bet at the least 2-1 at this point.

Ironton probably faced the best team they have played thus far this season, tonight, but they will face a juggernaut next week when they travel to Putnam to face the Tomcats. If the defense can't stop the run next week it will be a long night because of all the scoring. Does KHSAA have a running clock when the lead is at 35? And if I read it's just Ashland in the forum I think I'll puke. No discipline = No wins

So sick of excuses. Yea all we need is the offensive coordinator to change. A RELATIVE is the only thing that will work? GIVE ME A BREAK. Makes me sick. That team tonight wasn't that great sorry...Ironton ran sloppy routes , no 2 min offense, no pick patterns, no discipline, no conditioning, no hard nose hitting. They say a team takes on the personality of their head coach.Well guess what? There is so many things we do wrong. I could go on and on and on.

They also beat Russell 42-8 until the second team came in. Ironton will have a hard time.

It was an improvement overall. IHS was In this game the whole time. Shreck has got to go! Isaac showed up!!!
The larger Ironton line got swamped by the smaller & faster BHS LINE PLAY.
Best team so far IHS has faced. That's the 3rd game they could have won only being down 2 @ half.
The whole ship sinks from the top!!!
Chin up orange & black!!!

Was mark lutz ever associated with the Vass era? I just can't imagine if he wasn't why he didn't take Bob's place. But if he was involved, he could smell the sinking coaching staff ship through the locker room stench. If so, no wonder He jumped the boat to RH.

Kentucky Implements a Running clock with a 30 point differential I believe.
