I like Waverly but lets keep things in prospective, they have not been a Juggernaut in recent times on the football field.

So scheduling this game even if it wasn't a late scheduling, does not seem all that bad to me.

Still a D4 school with quite a few returning starters taking on a mediocre D7 school and traveling 2-3 hrs to do it. Yes it's that bad. As stated I'm sure it was in a crunch as teams are hitting their league schedules but with all the teams out there has to be a little more quality opponent to go up against.

Waverly needs to learn how to win, This game helped with that and it looks like the reserves got some valuable playing time. Waverly has no shot at the SOC or the playoffs, but a .500 season would go a long way to removing the doubts of the last 5 years. You got to start somewhere.
