Portsmouth's normal OVC foe over the last 15 years was usually Chesapeake. I'm not sure if Portsmouth ever lost to the Panthers during that time, but during the first part of the 2000s both programs were at the top of their games. That being said, I'll go with history here and take the Trojans to beat a traditional OVC opponent but not by a lot.

no. They did not lose to Chesapeake. The games were actually pretty lopsided in Portsmouths favor. They played South Point as well several years ago.
Here are some scores of OVC teams a few years ago
2009- Portsmouth 26 South Point 14
2008- Portsmouth 28 South Point 15
2007- Portsmouth 60 Chesapeake 13
2006- Portsmouth 71 Chesapeake 44
2005- Portsmouth 27 Chesapeake 20
2004- Portsmouth 47 Chesapeake 6
2003- Portsmouth 20 Chesapeake 6
2002- Portsmouth 48 Chesapeake 8
