This weekend could very well decide a share or win for either team in the SOC 1 championship hunt. Both teams coming off solid wins and looking to improve to 2-0 and keep title hopes alive.
Oak Hill started the season off with a bang, but not in a good way. But have found themselves on the losing end 2 others times by much closer margins to a 3-1 Minford and 3-1 Rock Hill. They have played stiffer competition so far and may have shown after defeating Symmes Valley 33-6.
The Titans are coming off a win over Eastern (2-2) after being up 36-6 and putting it into cruise control. The Titans ran out of time vs Southern and could very well be 4-0 but come into the season at a strong 3-1. Their wins include Manchester (1-3) and Grove City Christian (0-4, lost to all winning record opponents) Can the Titans prove that this year is their year?
Looking at the rosters, Oak Hill comes in with 67 (give or take a few after injuries, etc) and very well are the favorites as they travel to Spartan Stadium Saturday night.
Notre Dame has around 19-20 players and all but maybe 1 go both ways the whole night, but seem to gain steam as the game goes on.
I look for the game to be close if ND can stop Oak Hill and give themselves good field position. Oak Hill's record def isn't fooling anyone and if they find themselves unable to stop the 3 headed monster (Kayser, Collins, Johnson) they will be in some trouble.
(If ND's defense shows up)
ND 28
Oak Hill 21
(If ND forgets the Def back at school)
ND 24
Oak Hill 35
Week 5: Oak Hill (1-3) at Notre Dame (3-1)
Re: Week 5: Oak Hill (1-3) at Notre Dame (3-1)
Yet another Saturday night of football at Spartan. Hoping the rain will hold off for one game this season.
Keys to the game:
Notre Dame:
ND must move the ball on the ground
No Turnovers
Cassidy must complete the passes when they are called (90/10 run/pass ratio)
Defense, bend don't break. No long drives or 1 play TD's
Notre Dame coming in 3-1 and the underdogs against a battle tested 1-3 Oak Hill.

Oak Hill's schedule to this point will be the difference. Oaks by 14.
