It wouldn't be a Friday night in 2015 without rain...

That's for sure considering we haven't played a game without rain since wk one

From afar, it appears Waverly has a chance to compete for a win in each of its last three games. The Burg game week should be used to work on fundamentals, execution, and developing some depth to improve in each remaining game. Waverly's season is far from being over.

Exactly, Omega. Avoid injuries in this one and get batter for week 8 to close out the year with three wins.

It seems to me that there is rarely a good match between two great teams anymore. Burg rolls

Rain may happen during the day and the night may be good for some football? Waverly, no matter their record, is always a good game. They will show up.

Good luck burg. Keep representing.
I always hate to hear of injuries changing the path of the HS kids efforts, hopes, & dreams.
This year, I looked @ a dozen or so rosters & it really shocked me how some schools have 30 more players than others coming out for FB. I know here, the parents are concerned with the heat index.

Off topic:

The Osceola, FL Kowboys, just 4 miles from my house & multiple state championships, started games with the heat index @ 100•+ when I started seeing them win the state on the news. So, they elected to start games @ 9pm. I went my second year to a a home game @ 7pm & there were boys down almost every play after first qrtr.

Earlier people were talking about field turf & injuries this year. It was just on on the metro local Orlando news about the 40% raise in injuries & cancer cases. Especially for soccer.
Can anyone enlighten me on what is field turf, or the one made of recycled tires & which schools have what back in the tri-state.
The newscast focused on the recycled tires as being the problem & I think they called the recycled tires as field turf, but I'm not for sure which is which & what is what!!

Thanks!
It's Friday night!!!
Good luck!!

No real shocker here, little more of a blowout then I would've predicted however.
