Week 7: South Point (2-4; 1-2) @ Portsmouth (2-4; 1-2)

This game will be for Pride-not Prize, as both teams are essentially, if not mathematically, eliminated from the playoff picture.

Two speedy teams with some nice skill players with each team having a first year coach.

The one common opponent was Fairland (South Point won 32-8; Portsmouth won 35-7).

Although, there may not be a lot on the line for post season, there will be PRIDE on the line for both clubs, which could make for an interesting game.

South Point will be getting two of their senior running backs this week. One only played defense last week but usually plays both ways. One also was a starting linebacker and nose guard who didn't play at all. We possible may have a third running back who was been out for two weeks as well. Injuries have really hurt the Pointers this year and last. I look for them to rebound and get the win.

Not having Leonard, Adams and Murnahan hurt a lot last week. They are out three big backs. having two back for sure this week and possible a 3rd if he gets released should help the offense and ready help the defense too! Pointers are capable of winning this game. Go Big Blue!
