I think the dogs win in a close one, at least closer than some people think. Don't think it will be a blowout or a running clock. The Rockets are much improved and they are at home. Goingto be a beautiful night for high school football either way.

The Rockets have no answer for Saltzman. And for that matter the Athens passing attack. Obviously the only choice here is the Bulldogs. This will not be a close game.

Look for Saltzman to run wild tonight could score 8Td's!

In a game between two former SEOAL members who ran from competition, the pick is Athens....... BIG

The weak beats the weaker ! ;-)

Anything can happen Paladin on any given Friday.

Heck, last week the "slow" team beat the "big and bad" Chiefs. Those are your quotes lol not mine.

Wellston had a lot more speed than I expected. Another great TVC league game

Now that's a prime example of how a team pisses right down there leg!! Run the darn ball north and south not east and west at goal line. Cox should've been pounding that ball on last few plays before overtime. Hats off to the Bulldogs for making wellston piss there selves.

Blaming the coaching staff isn't going to help anything. Wellston is headed in the right direction.

Game was definitely overshadowed by the ref disaster the last quarter. A lot of confusion. Wellston is going in the right direction. Wellston has a lot of good players

Wellston needs a kicker. That was the difference. Wellston scored and went up 8. They went for 2 and were stopped. Athens went down the field and tied it up. Wellston was inside the 20 after two horse collars with seconds left. Should have also kicked there.

That's great, but nobody ever gives the line any credit. He's not doing this stuff alone.

In a couple years Wellston will win a game like that. Just need to be in some of those "been there done that" situations a few times in order to win a crazy game. Athens has obviously had some big moment situations at end of games and played better; we should have never let that couple score lead slip away. Had our chances.

Congrats to the players and staff, shake it off, tough loss, but let's win the next two.

Wellston football is on its way back.

You are absolutely right Dandy Don. To take Athens to overtime is a major improvement, it was a great game.
