Chieftain Fan wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2017 9:53 am Burrows is a very good QB that's in a tough situation . I for one watched and rooted for Athens in the State Playoffs . I've been rooting for Joe to get a shot each Saturday . Just seems like it's not going to happen . When anyone from the area goes on I try and follow them and always wish them the best . It takes a lot of hard work to just get to the next level . Enough said about that . Read the Preview in LD and looks like the Bulldogs have talent and size . Can they end the streak ? Logan schedule has been tougher but will that favor the Chiefs . We will know tomorrow night . Should be a very good game . Go Chiefs!!!

I've been talking up Joe Burrow in Columbus since 2013. Glad he's a Buckeye. He'll either be the starter or make the starter better.
Is it Burrows, or Burrow? Either way, I wish more local players could get invited to play at tOSU.
My mistake, it 's Burrow, my apology.

I really like Burrows but it is trollers like Raider that will have me pick at anything. As long as he trolls Logan topics I guess Burrows is not only thrown under the bus but ran over.
How is Raider (an Athens fan) trolling a Logan vs. Athens topic?

I think it's just his displeasure with Logan no matter who they play that it looks that way . Most do not let it bother them . Read some good post and some not so good . Freedom of speech I guess.

Yeah it's an academic school like Athens unlike Logan

It's a high school football message board, not a political socio-economic sounding board.

Yeah yeah, I read it.

But.

Is there is a lot of difference in that and using "splinter butt" to refer to a D1 athlete, perhaps one of the better ones to play in the area as of late, on a full ride scholarship to tOSU?

Enough of the name calling I can watch Hannity and Maddow every night and get that lol.

Back to HS Football, my pick for this one is...drum roll...Logan. Chiefs still in the head of Athens.

I think you're right about Logan being in the head of Athens' coach. NY was in his head for a few years until he finally won one, but it took a player not on the roster to win it for them. He'll have to overcome that turd-down-the-leg syndrome this week to exorcise those purple demons.

I called that out to.

Burrow is at least the best QB from this area since Art Schlichter - and among the handful of best to ever play around here.

Clay Davis has 1,152 passing yards and 15 touchdowns, with just four interceptions. Senior receivers Treyce Albin (24-399, 5 TDs) and Robert Dickelman (25-388, 4 TDs) have been big play threats. Running backs Evan Adams (56-273) and Mikel Casteel (61-278) have been an effective tandem.

This was a surprising stat, Logan has been out scored 70-0 in the 1st quarter.

Not surprising with them being way down, and the teams that they have played. You going to the game tomorrow Raider?

Looks like you have been reading the paper. Why don't you put up the stat of record of the teams The Plains have played. When you put up stats you leave a lot out.

My statement didn't say anything about the score of those games it is asking for those team W/L record. If you are going to use my words in a statement...you could answer it right.

I will give you a little help if you are struggling. The winning percentage for the teams The Plains has played is around .240
