Burg hasnt had a losing record since the 60's Burg might have a season here and there that they go 6-4 or 7-3 but thats the worst I have ever seen it doesnt take Burg very long to get it rolling again

I think Tony Lewis had his first team in 02 and went 5-5.

Burg 44-0 at the half. The best thing about Oak Hill tonight is their band. Very entertaining halftime show. The Oak Hill coaches just walked by me on theway to the press box for the second half with this look on their faces like "what do we do now?!?!?!" The Oaks are being dominated so bad, it kinda makes you feel bad for them. Hopefully everyone on both sides stays healthy for rest of game.

Burg actually finished that year 5-6 after losing to Minford twice in the same year. Once in the regular season and then in the playoffs. I believe that was also the year Minford used Northwest for the home games because of the 90 yard field incident. That was first losing season since 1964.

PirateBB, I'm with you that the Pirates will be too much for the Oaks, but 49-0?! Oak Hill is the #5 ranked team in Reg 19...and that's nearly a 50 point spread! If the Burg beats them that bad, then they can go ahead and punch their ticket to the Final 4! My prediction will remain a little more conservative...Wheelersburg 42 - Oak Hill 7.

Final Burg 44-0. That's all first half points. Burg would have scored another 2-3 touchdowns if starters played any in the 3rd quarter. Total domination tonight. Way to go boys. Big game next week vs Waverly.

Agreed. Second string started the second half and both teams struggled to move the ball with any consistency. Burg was like a well oiled machine in the first half though. They scored on every possession I believe. Six TD's and a FG on 7 possessions.
