We are proud of our kids wether they go to the final 4 or not.
Our kids work their tails off and dedicate almost all of their otherwise free time to being the best they can be.
That alone makes me proud of them for putting their teammates, school, and community ahead of themselves.

The buckeyes should be happy if they win the region... hell any fan should be happy if their team wins a regional championship. That's an awesome accomplishment. I know the Mac schools are awesome! But they are beatable. Ny has just as good a chance as anyone else to beat a mac school if and when they face off! I liked burgs chances in 2015 vs coldwater. They were just better. It happens. Either way as a fan I am very humble that my team gets to play in week 11...

I have seen it posted on a different thread that not winning state this year would be a huge disappointment for burg. I don't agree. Burg is a beatable team.. it doesn't have to be a mac school to knock them off.

2014. No one outside of burg gave the pirates a chance against Hartley. Burg went toe to toe and in my opinion should have won that game. Hartley just made plays when they had to be mad at the end..

Just for the record. How many posters on here have actually been a part of a team that won a regional championship? Or even played for one?

I agree. I think people have seen Burg get close so many times and with the TEAM they have this year, we all just expect Burg to win it all.
I know I believe Burg will be playing week 15

I think NY can win the region, after that it will be interesting. Have to worry about week 7 first. One week at a time after that

My advice for Nelsonvile is simple. Load your staff with daddy coaches. We add a few new ones each week and it has worked wonders in Glouster. With 9 weeks to go the sky is the limit for you guys.

We had a few dads coaching a few years ago. One was calling the offense and one calling the defense. We did great in the regular season but not even the daddy's could overcome the Davey playoff curse.

We ruled the tvc until Athens used that soccer player to kick a field goal and beat us. I consider that cheating because we don’t even have soccer aka kickball.

victor creed wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2017 12:57 pm I read somewhere that from 2009 to 2016 where coldwater went to eight straight state championship games. That they only won their league 3 times. That should say something about the Mac. There are 3 teams this year that are the favorites to win div 6. And all are from that league. I will pull for nelsonville because they are our area which is southeastern ohio football, but beating anyone of st Henry marion local or coldwater. Is a tough order. Just be glad you will ony se one of them if you get to the semi's or beyond
