Oh really? Hartley went from DV to DIV and immediately won two state titles. Against Steubenville no less, the school everyone seems to be in awe of. Hartley never won a state title in DV.
Hartley could never figure out coldwater
Hartley also added a few more pieces to that puzzle over those years too with transfers and such. Just as Hartley today is not the team it was 2 and 3 years ago. And last time I checked, Burg hasn't figured out Coldwater either.

Hartley should be good test. Glad to see Burg and Trimble playing big time programs. The rest should be over before the kickoff for Burg

Looks about right, Cal Preps is usually pretty accurate.

No but I did here the parents needed therapy to treat the deep emotional Issues caused by their kids loving Burg more than their alma mater.

It's going to be interesting to see the development of the younger guys now stepping into starting/leadership positions. I for one believe the offense will pick up where they left off last year, if not be a little better. Defensively the back end should be set with a lot of talent and experience coming back, even if they weren't "starters" last year. A bunch of underclassmen got meaningful game reps throughout the season last year, so I'm not sure I see much of a fall off this year defensively. We have to remember that multiple guys who started on defense last year were first year starters, and developed into arguably the best defense Burg has ever had. Whether they are first year starters or not, you can rest assured that player development from year to year is what keeps a winning program going.

11 on Offense and 11 on defense. I hope they only play football. It will be kind of disappointing to see them try to play soccer out there. That will leave big holes in the defense.

CalPreps is usually pretty accurate after a couple weeks and they can start to generate an algorithm of sorts - their Week 5 prediction is wrong - by a lot.

I can’t see Burg beating Jackson by 41. Jackson’s defense should be outstanding. Can’t see Jackson not scoring on offense. That prediction is trash.

I can see Burg scoring a lot of points and I also seeing the defense giving up big numbers against

Ironton
Hartley
Jackson
Waverly

Burg will win a lot but getting out to big leads might be a little difficult. Burg will have to wear teams down this year before the big numbers start adding up.

Do you say this because of burgs D or the other teams O? Burgs offense should be really good. Passing game should be as good as last year. I think the running game may be a lot better.
Jackson usually doesn’t put many points on burg, really can’t see ironton put up many, Hartley I can see it. I could see burg giving up 21 to waverly but putting up a bunch.

False. Burg brings back 3 out of 4 linebackers. Returns 2 d lineman that rotated and their secondary is back except one corner and they have options. Burg will be hard pressed to duplicate last years d and everyone knows it but they won’t be a push over either.

I don’t think the burg coaching staff is worried about the D

Let's look at some specifics instead of the meaningless banter that has taken place in this thread. What does everyone think the statistical output will be for this years team? Here are the stats from last years team and some other media. Anyone have any predictions?
