Portsmouth wins and Parker racks up some serious yardage.

Parker will look like Bo Jackson on Super Tecmo Bowl!! He could honestly finish with 400-500 yards if allowed...

I'll be pulling for Coach Peck and the Raiders but my head says Ptown runs away with this one. Wish I could be in Bidwell tonight!

A few thoughts/comments I have on this game.

1. RV stadium is nice, but very very small lol.

2. GPS took almost every Portsmouth person I heard from the wrong way lol.

3. Portsmouth played decent, should’ve and could’ve been 35-0 at half. I suppose coach Kalb didn’t want to run the score up so he didn’t use his 2 timeouts from like the 4 yard line with 40+ seconds left.

4. Game started at 7:30 instead of 7, that was a shock to me.

5. Had the monsoon not came in, I don’t think RV scores, also believe Portsmouth puts up 48.

All that being said a win is a win. Good luck to RV the rest of the season.

Congratulations to the Trojans and the coaching staff on win #2.........very surprised that the game actually finished with lightning in the area by the 3rd quarter.......when it started to really rain hard, I left with Portsmouth up 35-7. The Trojan defense played well again, especially with a goal line stand to start the game after RV had a kickoff return to the PHS 5 yard line. Danny Lattimore had a good game passing, throwing for a couple of TD's and having one long one called back due to penalty. Going forward, Portsmouth MUST be able to pass effectively so that teams cannot key on Tayln Parker. If the Trojans can execute a balanced offense, Talyn will put some big numbers going forward.

River Valley's stadium is nice, and there were plenty of seats for the visitors. The setting of the stadium and how to get there reminds me very much of Rock Hill's facility. Keep your heads up, Raiders, better days are ahead for you.

Portsmouth has some very winnable games in front of them, and if the defense continues to play well, those games will become even more winnable. GO TROJANS!!!

Saw improvement from the Raiders in this one. They finally scored their first TD....in a monsoon! LOL

The most frustrating thing from the Raiders side, was the fact that they got the ball inside the Portsmouth 10 yard line 3 times and came away with NO points! Got to score there!

But, again, I see improvement each week from the Raiders. What a brutal schedule so far....CG, Gallipolis and Portsmouth. 3 very good teams!

Good luck to the Trojans the rest of the way in 2018!
