Any coach you throw in there with their numbers being down bc of drug testing and kids just not wanting to play bc they don’t want to be drug tested would struggle to win a game there. Until the playing field is equal they’re going to struggle to win 1 game a year.

Re: 0-3 South Point @ 2-1 Coal Grove
You can always stop the testing to get your level playing field, I don't agree with the testing. IMO the testing hurts more kids than it helps, the kids who play probably already don't smoke weed and I say weed because that is 99% what the testing is for, not many other drugs are used in high school. What about the kids that have a bad home life that might already be in with the wrong crowd that want to play football?? With the right coach and the discipline and coming together as a brotherhood, you might just help save that kids life. Right now, you guys have already said it above THEY JUST DON'T PLAY, so now we have a kid who has a bad home life, smoking weed (maybe other things but unlikely), and more time to do it because now he's not playing. How is that helping?osumufan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 14, 2018 9:14 amAMEN!!!! Truest statement I have seen on SEOPS in a while! SP starts every game with an uphill battle. Ok. I wonder why football has been the sport to suffer the most? It seems like all the other sports have done good or at least been competitive.osumufan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 14, 2018 12:37 pmYes they do, all sports and band/cheerleaders. South Point's win will be keeping the team together and growing every game. I hope none of them quit and grow off that.

Lol I’m a Cg Guy. My point was that they can’t blame the sting testing costing them athletes in football when every other sport has some success and they have to submit a drug test.StolenTalents12 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 14, 2018 7:55 pmFattseycline wrote: ↑Fri Sep 14, 2018 9:18 amDo they drug test all sports?StolenTalents12 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 14, 2018 8:20 am

Re: 0-3 South Point @ 2-1 Coal Grove
I think South Point has shown some improvement from last season. The offensive scheme suits the talent they have, they could move the ball at times. If they give their coach a chance, I believe they can be competitive again.

Matt77, you forgot the most important stat that needs fixed immediately for the Grove. 8 penalties for 101 yards. 3 TDs called back due to penalties. Not making it to week 11 with sloppy play.
