Definitely not missing GS this year or next year. Horsley and Masters are better QBs than he ever thought of being.

I’m sure burg would have loved to have an experienced athlete back but he transferred like two seasons ago. Burg will be ok QB next year, but obviously the inexperience will be a factor.

Burg isn't a one player program, it's the sum of all parts. Ordinary kids do extraordinary things. Burg has juniors chomping at the bit to play now, but won't til next year.

 Buckeyes probably could've used him tonight as they only had 74 yd rushing against the mighty Boilers.

That's such bologna. They have more talent then anyone in Southern Ohio. They have a good system, but talent wins out.

Last year Mathews was nothing more than a defensive player and kick returner on Wheelersburg. He would've been the best player on any other local team outside of Parker at Portsmouth

Bologna. You mean they’ve had more talent for 30+ years?
Let’s just go the last 10 years with coach Woodward. Have you seen his winning %? His worst year was 7-3 probably. Because He only had four seniors that started. Burg is more than just talent.

Do they have more talent in just about all sports? All their sports programs are usually at the top or competing for the top and are usually the last programs in the area competing in the tourneys.

Someone mentioned on another topic that most casual fans don’t factor in is burgs depth. Burg dresses and rotates a lot of kids and usually wears teams down. That’s doesn’t look like it’s going to change in the future.

Thats not bologna. They don't have what you would call a lot of pure talent. The kids work hard and buy in to the programs there. They get the most out of their ability. Take a look,at their football team, other than Holden they don't have any giants. Nobody that passes the "eye test" if you just saw them walking down the street. Ordinary kids doing extraordinary things.

They don't have horrendous talent,no. Some talent, yes. What they do have they develop with excellent coaches in most every sport. Not downplaying the fact they have some good athletes. On the flip side I've seen schools loaded with talent that couldn't win hardly a league game here in the tri-state. Talent helps but willingness by the kids and great coaching is what puts programs on another level.

In fact their darn lucky they haven't lost more because of his Coaching. heheheheheheh. LSU has who should been their starting quarterback..Parker needs to go to LSU..Ol buddy Urban Sanchez will put the screws to him too...These OHIO homers think Urbans a god..He's pitiful..
