Granville’s potential + Justin Buttermore (who led Tri-Valley to the state title game) = a threat in D3

Half Time Varsity
West Jefferson 27 Grandview Hts 7. West Jefferson scored 2 touchdowns on a 80 yard run and a fumble return for TD. Grandview Hts scored right before half to make 27-7. Grandview Hts' Lachey did not play but would not have made a difference. West Jefferson has a nice team- look to have quick running back that run hard and can pass a little bit also. West Jefferson should make the playoffs again this year.

Left early at Logan. Chiefs up 28/00 could be 50/00.

Marietta might have had two first downs when I left. Didn't get their first until the last play of the 2nd Quarter.

16-0 at half vs Waterford. 30-0 final. Warren had a balanced offense. Waterford was in the game the whole time, not making excuses. Waterford threw two interceptions that was returned for good yardage. Again, not making excuses. Waterford did not have their starting running back and lost their qb mid 2nd quarter. If it was a full game and both sides were healthy I think it wouldn’t be a different game. With the things Waterford lacked they still kept with warren with 16-0 at half. I prefer Brandon siminettie at qb rather then Kurt taylor

Granville has a very nice team. Burg moved the ball well every drive during varsity, just couldn't punch it in.

Granville is a stout D3 team , that game will bode well for burg . Nothing to be ashamed of there

Very impressed with Granville coaching, their discipline to assignments and tackling. Very sound team all around.

Oak Hill won varsity portion 14-12. Wellston could not stop the run with the oaks putting up methodical 7 minute touchdown drives twice. Oaks couldn’t contain the Rocket’s receivers with big passing play filled drives leading to a couple touchdowns with failed 2pt conversions. The oaks need to stay healthy if they want to compete this year as their jv seems to be headed for a long season being outscored 38-0 in the final two quarters.

Watched ironton Jackson went 10 plays each and 7-7 after that. Then went to more of a jamboree style with down and distance and ironton began to establish their dominance 20-0 or 27-0. When I left not sure which but was all ironton. They are as advertised. Big and strong. Well coached. Jackson has a little work to do but they are also big strong team who will have success this year
