Great game Tomcats shocked me the way they played even with all the mistakes still made a game of it. LOOK OUT R27 next year other than three or four players this was a jv team and they played great all year I'm a believer lol

NC could very well play in the state title game this year. They wouldn’t win, but they’re good enough to win this region and knock off whoever comes out of R25 (if that indeed is who Region 27’s champion plays) in semi’s.

Great season Trimble. Seemed like the whole second half was played in the NC red zone. Darn turnovers

With both having 3 losses, #12 seeded NC will be playing #15 Shadyside for the Regional title. I don't know if the 1-8 seeds by the Harbins really want to go to 12 teams next year. I don't think it will matter as much with D1-D3 teams but will hurt D4- D7. A lot of the smaller Catholic, Parochials and Privates being seeded from 9-12 going forward and having 2, 3 or 4 losses with good SOS during the regular season will bode well for them as if it hasn't already been bad enough over the decades. I guess we'll see how it works out going forward.

Yeah. This is a pretty interesting point with NC, as it’s no longer going to be the case that they have to go 5-5 or better in the LCL to make the playoffs with the expansion to 12 teams.

8 teams or 12, you can bank on the Tomcats being back.

Trimble definitely didn’t get smoked like many predicted. Stats I heard they outgained NC by >100 yards, but 5 turnovers against a good team like that is impossible to overcome. Both teams bring a lot back, might be next years regional final if they don’t meet before that point again. Good season by the cats that replaced 20/22 starting positions and were said to not have a chance this year. Proved they belong, will be a fun group to follow moving forward.
