No team has scored more than 2 offenaive touchdowns on ironton in 2 years though that could change in this game definitely if tingle is healthy

No team has scored more than two touchdowns on ridgewood all of this year. I can’t see this getting past 21 for either team.

Ironton will be fine until they can no longer avoid Kirtland. That's when the dream will end. And no, this is not Paladin, contrary to popular belief of the rubes from SEO.

The most intriguing part in this matchup to me is to see if Wood can be as physical as Prep was to create those turnovers. After watching that game last week, I’m not sure that is possible...but IF they do, and can cash in on a few, this could go their way. Prep created them, just couldn’t cash in

I’m hoping so but nothing is guaranteed. That’s why they play the game. We gotta get past this week first. We always get challenged for this region, haven’t yet. This is the last game in this region so I’m expecting it. I just hope if that game happens, that we are both healthy

Ironton will win this game in a big way, Ridgewood will not score more than 7 points take that to the Bank

I got Ironton 28-14 but if Wood can create turnovers like Prep did and cash in on a few that could be the difference. I know Wood has a good defense but can they be as physical to create those turnovers and if so, can they cash in? I don’t think Wood beats them straight up in a clean game

Ironton needs to focus on tomorrow and then worry about roger bacon who has a LSU commit running back. That’s if they win too. Everyone makes it sound like the state final is already in stone. And if ironton and makes it and loses state so what, making it this far is a accomplishment. As a Portsmouth fan I’d love to see a team just make it there lol. Ridgewood going to play tough tomorrow that’s a guarantee

Wood scored 14 on Ironton last year and Wood brought back basically the whole team from last year. So if Tingle can go I anticipate a close game and the qb who came in for Tingle last week is descent at throwing the ball I think his nerves got the better of him because he nervous u could tell. So with a week of preparation to be the starter I think he will do just fine and this game is gonna be a good one so good luck to both teams on an injury free game

Agree. Nothing is for sure. We are favored, Ironton is favored, but anything can happen. We will worry about next week when and if it gets here. You would think Ironton would get Bacon assuming they both win but that’s not the pairing as of yet. I’m not sure why R17 wouldn’t play R18 and R19 play R20 but OHSAA released every region pairing except D5. I will say though, Bacon is lucky to be playing this week, in the OHSAA playoffs that is, but things went there way

Wood is closer to Kirtland than Bacon. I imagine that is why they are waiting to announce pairings. If Wood wins you will probably see a Wood/Kirtland matchup in the semis. If Ironton wins you will see an Ironton/Bacon matchup.

If Tingle doesnt play I see Ironton taking this 17-7.. lots of people prediciting Ironton to score higher but Ridgewoods D will make them earn every inch. Plus Ridegwood may decide to stay on the ground more this week if Tingle really is out, keeping Irontons O off the field more

IMO the Ironton offense is better than Burgs and with little offense from Wood with Tingle out last week their defense was gassed by the 4th qtr. and barely hung on. If Tingle is healthy they can keep it close but without him no way. (W/O him: Ironton 31-14, With him healthy and their ball control style, Ironton 21-14)
