Minford took a huge post-burg mental hump this week.

My oh my, big win for Minford typically after a close loss to Burg they fold up for the season. Nice job in coming back and putting another nice game together to get this win. Really exceeding expectations for this season and honestly the opposite can be said for West really not living up to expectations. Going into the season I thought Minford had to young a roster to really get it done this year but they've really done a nice job of improving every week. For West really looks like you guys were the ones packing it in after the loss to Waverly, gut check time at this point for West.

WAY TO GO MINFORD FALCONS

WHO''DEM SENATORS!!

Thought this would be a good close game, but Minford is shocking the area with a convincing 41-21 win over Portsmouth West.
That makes 3 straight against Senators.

Watch out Waverly Tigers. Minford is for real gang. Homecoming Oak Hill, can't afford to overlook the Oaks.

GO FALCONS!!

Very surprised by this score I thought highly of west the way they hung around Waverly for the most part of that game

Waverly might want to watch out for the Falcons. Not a bad team at all. They also have a 6'6 corner to match up with Futhey, curious to see how that goes.

I know they're down but given the struggles Minford has had with Oak Hill I really think they should probably focus on their next opponent and that's the Oaks, instead of talking about Waverly. The Oaks have taken the last 2 matchups in this series against some really talented Minford teams.

Waverly is focused on Wheelersburg… one at a time.

Congrats Minford on the big win!!

Minford a little better than some thought! Guess that’s why the games aren’t played on an internet site!

Minford was in control pretty much start to finish. They have some really good size and their defensive line ran over West all night.

Correct, Minford has beat West 3-yrs in a row, and then over looks the Oaks gearing up for Waverly. I’m not convinced there is a such thing as a “Burg hangover” it’s more of an overlooking and not being mentally prepared for their next opponent.

Once Minford loses the second SOCII game then the hangover really sets in. The Falcons are not over the “Mental hump,” just yet. They’ll have to win the 2 outta 3 to convince me. As for tonight, great win for the Falcons.
