The SEOP score board shows Waverly 53 JM 28. I do not think Waverly would have scored 20 points in the last two minutes. Searching the net shows no final. Maybe a Tiger fan at the game can chime in.

Final was 53-28. Listened to the end on the radio.

Waverly got a stop and scored, JM gets fumbles 1 or 2 plays later Waverly runs the ball with Hurd scores in like 3-4 plays, JM turns around next play throws a pick 6. Crazy ending from Waverly fighting to hold on to a 33-28 lead to that.
Really a close game throughout at one point JM was up 10 in the first half.

Thank you for the info. It just seemed improbable given the closeness of the game at the point in Q4 where the live stream on YouTube stopped.

Hurd averaged 9.2 yards per carry and Harris 7.6
Crabtree 1 carry for 5 yards out of the wildcat and Smith with 1 carry.
21 passes? Maybe still too many when the Tigers are running at will. The two short passing TD’s were excellent calls at that point and time - play action to the TE and the defense was totally expecting the run.

The Hurd kid goes off for almost 300 yds? Dangggggg.
Impressive to say the least. Waverly is obviously very good on the O line as well

Great job by the Tigers in this one, the Johnnies scored 22 in the 1st half and we held them to 6 in the 2nd. 1st half they were aided by some shorter fields on the turnovers so all in all defense played really well. Offensively we all knew the running game and line was going to carry this team and so far through 2 weeks I think everyone in the area has perked their ears back to what we’re doing on the ground. Passing game is there but needs to be kept at a moderation and I prefer us sticking to outside the numbers or hash marks to throw it. Young QB it’s a bit of an easier read, he was hitting Hudson on some shorter routes and that CB had no answer those are the mismatches to take advantage of in the passing game. Let’s try and keep it rolling Unioto will be tough and we’re really going to start getting into the meat of the schedule for sure.
