You do realize Jackson literally fumbled the win away right. Nothing timid about Jackson. I will say Perkins is legit . Who else is supposed to be d1 ?
Maybe Trevor Carter who had 17 tackles, 2 for a loss, forced 2 of your fumbles and recovered 1? Maybe? Ask your running backs this morning, I’d say they will confirm. Ironton also had the ball inside your 20 three times and came away with nothing. Both teams caught breaks and had bad breaks. The better team won.
Yeah I get it , just posters saying goofy things, I don’t think Ironton was better . Maybe I’m a homer.
I suggest you go back and watch the film worst officiating ever. The winters “fumble” was a td it’s plain as day on film. Keep your heads up boys we still got work to do

This difference in the game in my opinion wasn't so much halftime adjustments by Ironton it was field position that kept Jackson timid in their play calling...Secondly the turnovers Jackson had were more costly than Ironton's overall. Jackson should have won this game and anyone looking at it in an honest manner would come to that conclusion..

Got homered at home? That’s the excuse you’re going with?

He must have went back to his old RH playbook
Once Ironton started spying and blitzing Winters in the 2nd half, Jackson got timid. Credit the half time adjustments.

I mean, you can just ask the D1 programs recruiting them.

When Burg &.Jackson play we should title it: The Excuses Bowl.

Carpenter actually out dueled Winters last night 245 to 210.

He deserves a lot of credit. Many doubted that he should be the starting QB, and I don’t think he missed a throw. He could have had almost 400 if Perkins catches the two deep balls. Pittman dropped one as well.

Question, why didn’t the clock start after the 1st down with 1:09 left? The official wound instead of chopped, but the clock didn’t move? Does the clock not start after a measurement?

Kid played a solid game. He's accurate on the move too.

Jackson has an excellent team! This was a fantastic and quality victory for the Tigers that will give the increased confidence the rest of the season. As far as Jackson, I'll step on a ledge and predict they're regional champs.

Jackson appeared poised to have embarrassed Ironton and **>>IMO<<** let down their intensity thinking it was in the bag after the first half and didn't pick it back up till sometimes in the 4th. In the future they need to destroy the other team first and then relax

I have film of that play and his knee was down, go check out Jackson’s media pictures from the game some of the pictures shows the ball didn’t cross the goal line.

Yup. They simply failed to execute when it was time.

Ironton dug deep and found a way.

The difference was THE DESIRE.

Has anyone heard how the gentleman who got injured on the sidelines during the game is doing? What was extent of injuries?

I heard today from a Jackson fan that the gentleman had received a slight concussion. It certainly looked pretty bad at the time. Also that the man was 87 years old, and that he had worked the chains for many years.

He is good to go and is adamant he will be there for the next home game.
