I look forward to going to new places we haven't played at before so I'm actually looking forward to Friday night even though I know it looks as if it could be a long night for our boys,but I'm sure they will still give it their all ,then it's time for league play.

Pretty sure there wasn't any specific reference made to this thread but in general. It's ok to ask for context if you need it. I don't mind helping anyone who maybe comprehends a little slower along.

Another big player out for Portsmouth this week and maybe for next week as well Brenden Truett. Don’t know the reasoning behind this but I know it has something to do with school. You all can figure out that situation. That makes 3 big players out for Portsmouth in Truett, Heiland, and maybe Lattimore. Should be an interesting game plan going into Friday.

Long Night for the Trojans. I worked at the VA just up the hill from the stadium for several years. Nice place to play HS Football. They are passionate kids and fans. Good Luck to Portsmouth though as I will always pull for SEO Teams.

How do you check score projections on calpreps? For me it says they don’t start score projections until October 1st.

Didn’t Spring Valley JV come to Portsmouth 3-4 years ago? Maybe I’m thinking of someone else from WV. But I think it was them, and they handled the Trojans. So more than likely those some JV kids are now varsity kids. I’m excited to see this walk off the hill I keep hearing about. Lol

No it was spring valley and they beat us down. 3 years ago because I went with my son to watch it his senior year. So those freshman are seniors. That team was huge, big numbers for a JV team and roughed us up.

I think their freshman came to wheelersburg a couple of years ago and burg fell short on a comeback losing by 1 score. They had like 40 freshman on their team.

Dog I had a video of them coming down that hill but I must have deleted it. I guessed they must have had 100 players dressed that night. They also have a tradition of holding it looked like a 2 by 6 piece of lumber up the whole game. A player holds that rascal up the entire game.

The game is streamed through Video Productions on Facebook. If you search for “Video Productions” then their Facebook page should be pretty easy to find. It’s free and they do a pretty good job. Feel free to share that information with Portsmouth fans.

We’d love to see a bunch of Portsmouth fans make the trip and hopefully there is a great environment for high school football.

Yes someone posted a video it's pretty cool , the lumber thing is pretty awesome,I love it....I'm starting to like this program with all the traditional stuff,but I'm sure that will change in a few hours .
