Toss up, both teams are pretty good small school football teams. Leaning Notre Dame

Got to go with Eastern in this one. Word on the street is 9-1 at worst and a home playoff game + Hocking Champs. Pressure is on to deliver anytime you make claims like that. Hope the best for the players and may both teams stay healthy.

Eastern squeaked out with a 1 point win over a now 0-3 FCA team and ND did whatever they wanted against an awful Fisher Catholic squad. ND having played the first game against CHCA would far and away be the best team either has faced. That could make a difference. Eagles get their biggest test of the season.

This one is a test for both. I’m pulling for the Titans in this one.

Going with the Titans on this one. Everybody healthy with the exception of Metzler which looks to be out for the season. I really think the confidence boost this past week and the CHCA and Berne games helps them for this game. Looking for a good game regardless. Titans 28-20

If Eastern wins this game, it’ll be the first time since 2001 that they’ve started out a season at least 4-0.

Notre Dame and Eastern Meigs have actually never played each other before.

Eastern Meigs has had undefeated seasons in:
1971
1981
And had been Conference Champions of the SVAC at least in the years of:
1960
1963 (Co Champs)
1970
1971
1978
1980 (Co Champs)
1981
1984 (Tri Champs)

Notre Dame has won the SOC or the SOC1 in the years of:
1965
1966
1967
1970
1971
1972
1981 SOC1 (SOC split into divisions this year)
1982
1983
1984
1986
1987
1988
1989
1994 (Co Champs)
1995
2000

Eastern is talking undefeated season and to do that they will need to win this game. They believe they are more physical than anyone on their schedule. So, is it important enough for ND to overcome the drive Eastern has to accomplish their goal. That will be the question in this game.

Rooting for TVC rival Eastern.

Since Belpre is off this week, I might drive down to Eastern and watch the game. Its a great place to watch a game with a nice atmosphere.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

I am not sure what you just said, but Ashes cannot win a close game. ND goes down. Hopefully, the boys can win one in their own.
