Lot of Freshmen getting some playing time. Looking good also. That class is going to be fun to watch the next 3.5 years.

How many rushing yards Ashland have? Not sure they even got to double figures

Ashland looked to have good size. I thought when they first started Burg would be in a closed game.

Ashland wore down.

I was so impressed with #12. He tripped and allowed that 65+yd opening TD. As a Freshman that's gotta be tough. But they kept him in and I think he only allowed one more catch all night. Lil dude rebounded in a big way. Way to be mentally tough

Guy from MyTown said Ashland had 200 some yards first half…60 some in the second half

Nice win for Burg. They going to be a load in playoffs.

Anyone know if Ashland staying on Burg’s schedule going forward?*

Neither Ashland or Russell apparently know what they are gonna get from week to week when there teams take the field. Russell got destroyed 50-10 by an average Lawrence co team.

Never hurts my feelings to see Ashland take a whooping. George Washington wasn’t able to beat them this bad, and he beat the British!

Nice win! Saw Ashland in a scrimmage, looked like a JV team.

Playing wise maybe but that team is huge. Just super lazy. Embarrassing to an extent

Well when Coach Love left Ashland a LOT of things changed. Just not the same kind of team. The 2020 team that won the Stste Championship was a powerhouse. They lost a lot from the past years and it shows for sure.

Don't mean to disparage Burg's big victory but..let's not forget Raceland steamrolled the Tomcats this year. Now, that can be taken two ways; Raceland has a fantastic team or the Tomcats are really bad this year? I tend to believe that both are true. We'll have to wait a couple of more weeks for definitive proof.

However, if Burg manages to walk away with a victory at Jackson this coming week, that will speak very loudly in their favor
