Wheelersburg 35 - 14 Valley 2022

Post by wobycat »

Valley fans feel like their team fought Friday night. Burg played very good football at Waverly. Valley a little down than past years. Thoughts?

Burg can name the score IMO. Getting better weekly.

Valley is a heavy underdog. I was really impressed with the effort at West yesterday as a big time underdog. From what I see Valley is fighting while being heavily outnumbered, which is great to see. Burg is a huge task and will win this game Valley still has stuff to play for. Hoping for an injury free game.

What I know is the burg coaches wont be running up the score to pad stats. They also wont be leaving 2 kids behind on the field as some programs will do.

Yeah, Wheelersburg got a coaching staff that does it the right way. Their teams always seem to get better as the season goes on and that’s a sign of solid coaching.*

Valley will battle, but they just don't have the players or especially enough depth to be able to play with the Burg.

Valley won’t have the horses to stay in the race, but they’ll give it a go.

I think the key is coming out of this game healthy, as we all know anything can happen in game 10, and as we also know Valley has a good shot at playing in week 11, even at 3-7, believe it or not.

Good luck to the Indians. Play hard.

Running clock to start the 2nd half and starters may see one series in the 3rd quarter.

Valley just not deep at all. They will fight but will wear down. Wheelersburg names the score.

Could be a bit of a trap game if Burg is looking ahead to West just in the first half but I think Burg will pull away in the 2nd half to get the win and hopefully both teams stay healthy and Go Burg!!

Burg has been super focused in the last two games where they were the better team. Putting both away early. I don’t expect anything different this week. The coaches have been here before and I expect the same focus this week.

Good post and sure hope Burg does stay focused and injury free and hopefully the Darling kid #29 gets healthy before the West game

Burg won’t be overlooking Valley and this isn’t a great matchup for Valley with their lack of depth. Valley will play hard but they need to get through this ready to matchup with Minford.
