Valley tries a 32 yarder to win it…one official says the field goal is good, the other waves it off…and we’re going to OVERTIME.

This game never should have went to overtime. We should have tried something before halftime and trying to kick a field goal when we have not been reliable in that position all year was just dumb. I still don’t see how you have one of the best soccer teams around but no one that can kick.

Before halftime when Valley was 70 yards away with 7 seconds left?

Valley tried multiple kicks and didn’t make it. They are high school kids. It’s not Justin Tucker.

You sound foolish.

That kick was the right call and it looked good from 50. Kid barely missed it.

They didn’t…the clock on the screen was wrong.

All that said…..

Valley straight got after it the last 3 weeks, and I’m very proud of them for that. Numbers were against them all year long.

Sure you’re playing a monster in Allen East, but you’ve played with Monsters 2 of the last 3 weeks.

The seniors deserve to get the chartered bus, the good food, and ENJOY the ride.

Go out there and put the ball on the tee and make the 2 seed earn it.

Good Luck next week!

Valley didn't use their time outs at the end of the half. The Indians used one time out before getting the last possession but only after quite a bit of time ran off. I believe Valley took over the ball with around 2:30 left in the second, unless the scoreboard was wrong also. There was no apparent concern about clock management or the timeouts would have been used and even more time would have been on the clock when Valley gained possession. I think the coaches were ok with the 8 point lead at that point by the way they basically just ran the clock out, but the last pass of the half with time on the clock did confuse me. Valley did a great job moving the ball between the 20's but seemed to get tight and confused when they reached the red zone several times. The young men fought hard and I appreciate their effort and have really improved this year which is a good sign. Both squads gave it their all it tonight and it was great to watch. Hats off to Minford and good luck next week keep it going.

Valley had chances. Couldn’t capitalize inside the 10 and missed 2 kicks. It sucks. The kids played hard.

Is the game Friday or Saturday? And does valley actually have a chance against them? I don’t think I have ever even heard of that team until we got in this region.
