It’s all about the money for the OHSAA. There are 16 teams per region in all 28 regions playing a first round playoff games. That’s 448 teams or 225 contests. OHSAA now keeps the ticket money less a very small stipend to the schools hosting. This needs fixed badly.

Scanning the scores from around the state, blowouts are the majority of the games, very limited amount seem to be competitive. I'm sure someone is going to crunch the numbers that will illustrate the disparity with this set up, it is not good for the kids or the sport.
