I would like to know if they saved a parking spot for west, and also why could the band not be dropped off at the entrance, and then the bus find a parking spot ?

I agree it should be, but I can't help but think either they didn't leave soon enough or they weren't dropped off at the gate before the bus found a spot to park. Either way it is not acceptable for the band kids who work just as hard as anyone to not be gotten to the event on time. Shame on whoever is responsible.

Im not sure about West. However the host school usually has a plce marked off for all visiting busses. Also you cant just drop them off at the gate...lol. They have eqipment and instruments to unload and also they have to get uniforms on.

Their band director is late to everything. Drives me up a wall. Didn’t used to be like that with Sanders. New director has been a major disappointment. May have not marched much but you can bet Sanders would usually show up on time and actually play a lot.

Also they don’t usually come in uniform most of the bigger instruments and uniforms are on the band bus.

I would strongly dissagree with you. The band sounds much better since the new band director than anytime I have known. You can actually make out what they are playing now... lol

Portsmouth should have done better. I think the Ironton/HP game should be played at Rock Hill. We always have parking spots for band busses.

I will definitely go to this one! I really like the Waverly facilities, some of the best around, and plenty of parking. Great choice by OHSAA. I went last year for the burg/HP game and really enjoyed the experience.

Worst place ever for this game,no way that place will hold the Ironton crowd,they will also overload the visitor seating . Even with all the parking it will be a nightmare getting out after the game . Take plenty of money last year it cost me 6.00 for a hamburger.
