Northwest will probably have a Senior at QB
West will probably have a Senior at QB
Northwest - probably SR
Waverly - probably JR
Minford - probably SO
Valley - probably SO
Wheelersburg - probably SO
Not sure about Oak Hill or West

Waverly, Minford, and Northwest's QBs all started last year.
but that's the SOC 2
Northwest will have a new one.
Brown or another?

Don't know for sure. Probably Brown.

Ironton has a good one in Thacker, a nice backup with Schreck, and after that is unknown. The Edwards kid looked phenomenal as an 8th grader but was mostly a one man wrecking crew on offense. You can’t do that at the HS level so he’ll need some time to settle in.

Bellaire replaces four year starter Jake Heatherington with younger brother Luke . Luke had an excellent baseball season and should be an adequate replacement. Freshman Alex Padgett has an excellent future at that position .

At this early stage, it's looking like freshman Mike Dippel will be the backup to Luke this year. The staff really like Alex as an "athlete" and list him as a wr/db on the roster, but he can certainly play qb.

I don’t disagree at all , highly possible , but other issues may play a factor. MD probably has more foot speed but AP is a more balanced athlete, excellent in both baseball and especially basketball and a bit taller at 6’.

That freshman class has some very good athletes with possibly four seeing full time varsity by their soph year .

My sources are telling me that Luke can run like a deer .
Also Luke and Mike have looked good (very accurate) in the passing drills
