Mohawks go on the road to Ross county and come away with an early season win.

Did I hear correctly a good NW player went to Ironton, but decided to return? If not, I apologize for listening to gossip. But if so, why?

Yes, he did. not sure the reasoning, but the player is still/back at Northwest.

I would imagine that would be quite the culture shock as far as football is concerned, Ironton is not for everyone.

He would have been just fine at Ironton. He broke his foot playing basketball about 2 weeks after he transferred. I believe he was going to be out for two months. Missed being with his friends.

Northwest over Southeastern 38-8. Lintz, with 130 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns. He also returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown, and had a fumble recovery and interception.

Can Northwest compete with the bottom half of the league this season? Valley, Minford, maybe Waverly?
