I’ll put my bias aside and take Waverly on this one. Unioto’s offense hasn’t been impressive and the defense hasn’t faced a team that can pass and throw. I think it’ll be a good one

After 3 Waverly up 28-14. They made adjustments. Unioto didn’t. Unioto outcoached, below par QB play, terrible secondary. Kelly has outplayed Hoops big time

Kelly settled down after the first quarter and played well. Unioto crossed the 50 almost every drive and couldn’t capitalize. Waverly had all momentum after they cut it to 7

I just don’t understand 1st and 10 in the redzone and throwing the ball crossbody across the field into double coverage. A decorated senior shouldn’t be making those decisions. Unioto had 0 execution all night

Kelly with some misses of open receivers early, rebounded with some really nice passes. The TD pass to Swords was a beauty.
Jase Hurd is absolutely the best back in the area and pound for pound it isn't even close. The score to end the first half was a run of beauty after he received the lateral and he will flat out run over you.. He loves dishing out the hit.
Give it up to the O-line who stepped up big time tonight - they are getting better a better each game.
And what can you say about Q Hurd, the young many is a beast - maybe the player of the game!!!

Waiting on the stats and I'll post them when I get them..

Tigers move to 2-1 and return back home next week to take on the young Valley Indians.

Dollison ran the ball well. 16 carries for 121 yards. Too bad the went away from it. QB1 was 17-37 with a pick lol

Good game for the Tigers once we started to throw the high percentage passes we started picking them apart. We have got to quit putting Kelley in a spot where it’s deep ball every time we throw the ball. That is such a hard ball to throw especially when everyone knows it’s coming. The first one in end zone was on the money just well covered. Had a WR stop when he got in end zone for no reason. Hurd what can I say as you never disappoint me at all. Such a stud. Q had great game on both sides of the ball. Kelley you do more than anyone know as it’s a lot more than just throwing the ball which after the 1st quarter you looked great. Swords lit it up again he and Kelly are definitely starting to get on same. page. Hoops throws a nice ball for them. Overall proud of the tigers tonight looked like a full house on both sides of the field. I enjoyed the SOSA broadcast even though not a fan of them. I guess maybe now they will put waverly in the top ten????
