Another tough game for ZT. Must win for the Pioneers imo. Don’t want to go into league play 0-3. At least from a morale standpoint.

The new AD stepped up the non-league schedule for the football program. They are not playing non-league teams like they have played in the last 10 years that they mull by 50 points. All three non-league games are winnable games in 2023. Hope they can get one tonight. Coaches in the past at ZT in football did not want to play anybody non-league. Get your team ready for league play and the playoffs.

14-14 at the half. Not much offense in the second half. ZT had a FG blocked with about 5 minutes left, but did not allow North Union to get a first down. After a short punt, ZT made a 22 yard FG inside two minutes. A lot penalties in the game, North Union had 19 penalties. Wow! Zane Trace had 9 flags. North Union was a decent team. Good D5 non league matchup before league play.
