A little out of my area of interest and I know athletically JG is a good sports school , unfortunately not good enough to beat Sheridan

Battle of 2 solid defenses. JG allowing 8.5 PPG, and Sheridan 14 PPG. JG offense must find a way to get their passing game going and stay balanced. Sheridan offense seems to be extremely balanced. JG defense will keep the game close but you gotta score to win. Would love to see JG win but I think Sheridan’s offense will prevail. I’ll go Sheridan by a Td.

The Little Muskies have got to take some pressure off of their defense to make this a game. They have shot themselves in the foot too many times offensively and the D has bailed them out. The Generals are too well coached to not take advantage of mistakes.

I was at the Morgan-Sheridan game. The two things the Muskies have to do are finish drives and prevent the big play.
Sheridan won with a bend but don't break defense. The Raiders were in the red zone five times and only scored twice. Morgan had it first and goal at the six (once) along with first and goal at the four (once) ending up turning the ball over on downs.
The Raiders had 308 yards of passing on the night.
Two of Sheridan's four touchdowns were for 40 yards or more.

14-0 Sheridan about 2 to go in the first half. JG offense has been atrocious. Sheridan could be up 28-0 but 2 fumbles have proved costly.

14-0 Final. Sheridan’s passing game was the difference. JG defense kept them in the game but offense couldn’t get any points on the board.

Until they force teams to respect the pass, unfortunately the offense will remain atrocious. You can't run power football out of the spread if you cannot pass out of the spread. Hats off to Sheridans D for plugging holes effectively.
