He’s a wishbone no huddle guy. But it’s not the traditional bone. What he ran at VC back in the 90’s was innovative and well ahead of its time. After thumping Sheridan VC had Ironton on the ropes in the playoffs the year that Wauseon beat Ironton on a second chance field goal in the state finals. The only two mistakes Jack made in the Ironton game was the botched PAT and kicking the ball to Jermon Jackson late in the game. Take either one of those plays away and VC could have been state champions. He’ll do a great job at GA I assure you. Glad MTSWNGRVSG spilled the beans on this one. Exciting times for GA and Gallia County.

You can always count on the old guy to know what’s going on in Gallia county. Best wishes to GA and their new coach.

Just saw this was re-posted on the OHSAA website. Did they not make a hire and had to reopen the search?

Gallia Academy High School is seeking a Varsity Head Football Coach. Interested candidates should email a letter of interest and resume to Gallia Academy Athletic Director, Adam Clark, at adam.clark@gc-k12.org
The position will be open until filled.

But what about Ole Jackie lol

My understanding is they broke the sunshine rule and have to redo the interviews. That's what I was told a few days ago

It’s a law not a rule! And basically if a meeting is held with more than one board meeting the public must be informed and meeting must be in a public forum.

This cannot be true. Would be incompetence on an almost unbelievable level.

So more than 1 board member sat in on interviews? That’s bad enough on its own without breaking the law.
