IRONTON 2024 SENIORS DIVISON 1 PLAYERS
Bowen Gossett OL/DL- Morehead State (D1)
Aiden Layne OL/DL- Morehead State (D1)
Braylon Sturgill LB/TE- Citadel (D1)
Shaun Terry WR/DB- Missouri (D1)
Josh Johnson DB/WR Penn State (D1)
These are 5 football players out of a senior class of 12 that are going to play DIVISON 1 FOOTBALL. To say Pendleton doesn’t send guys to go big is insane to me. He just produces raw talent. Plain and Simple.

It still makes one scratch his head wondering why a guy who proclaims to live and work in Cincinnati but likes to comment on teams in SE Ohio. There may be an imposter among us.avalanche wrote: Tue Apr 22, 2025 8:12 amHow rich, coming from you. You have 40+ posts in your history on this board, and nearly all of them are on Ironton. It makes complete sense to why he would comment on teams in SEO. You are just to oblivious to people moving out of the area. So focused on trashing Ironton kids you do not use any common sense whatsoever. I also live in Cincinnati, I also work in Cincinnati, I also follow SEO Sports. Wanna know why? BECAUSE I AM FROM THERE. Graduated from Ironton High School, played 3 sports for Ironton High School. Why would I not be a fan still? What makes it so tough to understand the concept of people moving and still supporting the South Eastern portion of the state? I am from SE Ohio and have family still in the area. I was unaware that you're only allowed to post if you live in SE Ohio. I must have missed that on the board rules and regulations page. I comment on two programs, the one I am familiar with, and the one where a family member currently coaches. That's it. I find it comical that you take offense to the fact I don't live in SE Ohio anymore and post, but one of the main contributor to all things Wheelersburg also does not live in SE Ohio anymore.Pirate1745 wrote: Tue Apr 22, 2025 2:23 pmIt still makes one scratch his head wondering why a guy who proclaims to live and work in Cincinnati but likes to comment on teams in SE Ohio. The only imposter is the one who is from Wheelersburg who makes 90% of his posts about Ironton. Again, you've trolled for three pages and multiple threads, you'd think the mods would get tired of the same ol song and dance.

Oddly, one would question the relevance of a poster based on where they live. I guess there is some unwritten rule for those of us who have left the area.
I agree with you 100%, it is far more odd that a poster from your rival school would make multiple threads about one's rival, only to trash the program and kids at every turn, continually.
My guess is the poster is not far removed from high school, or perhaps still in high school. That would explain their immature posting style and obsession with all things Ironton.

I totally get that anyone can post about programs even when they aren't in the area. What raises eyebrows are when someone has inside information or can get information about a program that most people do not know...avalanche wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 10:29 amBingo.TigersGameDayFan wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:41 amIt makes complete sense to why he would comment on teams in SEO. There is no need to name call. We can all be adults and I get you still follow/support your alumni. Any local school appreciates their alumni supporting them. I hope you can get back to the area this fall to help support your local team.TigersGameDayFan wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:41 amIt makes complete sense to why he would comment on teams in SEO. He did the same thing on Yappi football, started Ironton threads, then went on to bash them. He claims on here it’s not him lol. He goes be Seo411 on there. They might have banned him there, he hasn’t posted on there for a couple weeks.avalanche wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 10:29 amBingo.TigersGameDayFan wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:41 amIt makes complete sense to why he would comment on teams in SEO. Now, you know there aren't any tri-state teams in the area. All the players have been there since Kindergarten.fbnut wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 11:59 amLocal teamPirate1745 wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 10:44 amThere is no need to name call. You are just going to get people crying, and they will explain that their CB numbers actually went down. I guess the real estate or rental markets are booming in some districts.

Disagree, you deserve to be called names. You are a legit weirdo. I hope you wake up one day and look at yourself in the mirror and realize your obsession with Ironton and the kids is actually weird. Maybe you are young. It may take you time to grow and learn to not be a creep. If you are an adult you should be ashamed of yourself. Again, weirdo.Pirate1745 wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 10:44 amThere is no need to name call. We can all be adults and I get you still follow/support your alumni. This is exactly my point, like I stated, good for him and I wish him the best. But this is all just marketing. In what world is being 1 of 167 offers realistic. Its all just fluff. Is he #8 out of 167 for example, maybe, i hope so. But its all nonsense. He is also by an average of 3 inches shorter than the other recruits, as we all know that is a big factor.ohbuckeye2 wrote: Mon Apr 21, 2025 9:39 pmHe has an offer just like these other guys, not that hard to look up.goUK wrote: Mon Apr 21, 2025 3:25 pm Dear Player,

Id love to see proof from UK that he has a scholarship waiting on him. A handshake means NOTHING now in this college landscape. Of course he probably is good enough and I wish him the best, but Ironton is notorious for their players getting "D1 offers" and then going D2 or NAIA.
