Where did you hear the rumor and what were the changes made that you heard?
As they should. The line coached got mad and made some wild accusations
Which line coach?
The I heard crowd never gives out any facts. All they do is stir the pot with wild rumors.

Interestingly enough. The entire issue/non issue was handled in such a bizarre way. Lets review:

They jumped online calling for immediate community activation and mobilization per HC status. ( "stand up for our coach")

Provided ZERO detail or context about what said request for community activism and mobilization was about.

Made very very VAGUE inferences about HC status being in potential peril.

Attacked anyone who asked for details and context but demanded uniform community mobilization without context.

Got funding approved for the wellness center.

Then proceeded to act like they never said anything about it or requested community supoort per HC at all.

Almost as if they gaslit their own fanbase.

Very odd.

How did the 7on7 / lineman challenge go today? Saw there was some traditionally good programs heading down today.

Fort Thomas Highlands beat Ironton on the last play in the championship game. I just seen that posted on Ironton football Facebook page, not sure of the other games.

Between Williams and Carmon and this young man coming in from Hurricane if true add in Edwards at QB that is a explosive backfield.
And the receivers are nothing to overlook they have size and speed.
The Offense will be explosive the defense will be a question mark in some areas maybe but I believe they will be fine to.

Layne and Gossett are HUGE losses on the o-line with Layne a 4 year starter and Gossett a 3 year starter. There are 2 nice options at QB but no real threats at WR unless Edwards loses the QB1 spot. The running game could be nasty if the o-line can handle business. With such a weak schedule they should be looking at a 10-0 regular season and an eventual matchup with Harvest Prep.

Agreed. Ironton going to be really good, but don’t look to be as explosive as last year (understandable when you lose a player like Terry). The receivers looked average for their standards at the 7v7, but are still better athletes than most schools running out around here. Running game will be Ironton’s bread and butter this season.

The freshman QB looks the part from what I saw. Throws a good ball and appears to be 6’4” or 6’5” already.*

If he is ready to start they may move #7 to receiver.

I thought #7 looked pretty solid at QB, but his accuracy is the only question. Could maybe see him go back to WR, but it'd surprise me as a freshman QB starting at a school like Ironton doesn't happen very often.*

6ft4 or 6ft5 even if he isnt Qb1 will be a great target at TE or WR along with Silva who is also a big target and could be used similarly at TE.

The WR/TE room need only remember that none of them are expected to or have to be Terry for Ironton to win. Just gotta do their job as a collective and the WR room will be fine. Tons of talent.

I believe he will get a lot of playing time behind #7 nice problem to have 2 very capable Qb's #7 is a talented player to be sure he loves defence to but i would like to see him as a multi purpose player on offense from passing to running to receiver no doubt he will be a key player on special teams punt and KO returner

10-0 is a huge stretch. Look up liberty Christian. They are legit. Several big d1 recruits. They will give ironton all they want and then some.

Not a bad problem at all. Ironton turning into QB High. They have developed some very good kids at that position particularly.

So the 4 big transfers to watch are

Qb formerly Spring Valley/Boyd Co
Lineman formerly Cabell Midland
Rb formerly Hurricane
& also a transfer from Minford correct?
