Playoffs #7 Chesapeake @ #2 Valley

Let's not forget that Chesapeake's fastest player did not play until the last game of the season due to injury.
In that game he touched the ball 4 times and scored on his second run. Chesapeake has speed to burn.
Also, the Chesapeake defense held the Alexander Offense to a 42 yard field goal, and they held Ironton to only 14 points including an almost interception that bounced around and fell into the Ironton receiver's hands for one TD (the other Ironton TD was a pick 6). The most points they gave up in regulation was 20 to Rock Hill.

Valley is no doubt a great team with impressive athletes and a very enviable tradition of success. They will be tested in this game, especially their defense.

Which brings me to my point...whichever defense scores in this game will come out on top, with Turnovers being the key.

I'd bet my last dollar valley isn't overlooking anyone. Chesapeake has had a pretty darn good season or else they wouldn't be playing this coming week. This should be an outstanding game, maybe one of the best in the region.

Could be a closer game than many believe.
Chesy is a decent team and will play hard can hit som big plays that is why Ironton played keep away.
Valley may win but I don't believe t will be a blow out.

Thanks for that. And as hard as it is for me to say this, I'm pulling for Ironton this week. Evening planning to come and watch Friday night and if I can find a seat on the Visitor Section, sitting right there. And I'm sure there will be other Panther Fans pulling for Ironton and Rock Hill this week. Go OVC!
