So article in the paper this week said Fort Frye is currently doing summer football camp for the next 2 weeks I believe it's 3 nights a week and 2 passing scrimmages. Cadets return 15 Srs according the Times and have 43-45 players. Returning QB So- Tate Engle, RBs- Srs- Casey Lewis , Clay Baker WRs - Srs- Garrett Lockery, and Brady Carpenter, Colt Sampson, Jr TE Tyler Bradford SR Lineman 6-3 290 Owen Matheny , 6-2 275 Jordan Baker , 6-2 320 Caleb Kehl , Levi Bickford , JR G 6-0 215 Also Kicker - Sr Leiton Stewart.

Belpre has playmakers in Tullius, Reams and Bedgood. They try to get the ball outside on the edge to Reams and Bedgood with sweeps and options. They seem to play a ton of young kids. The line though decent size is the weakness of this team. The option plays seemed very slow to develop. On defense they lack quickness at LB and size at CB. Warren seemed to have success rushing the ball on the Eagles. Warren didn't have much of a passing game but the Eagles did play well in this phase. I think the Cadets will succeed with the power in this game. Cadets are much better in the trenches. Belpre struggled in the passing game. Engle seems to have it rolling in the pass game. This should be one of the better Cadets teams. I think Belpre can still win 4-6 games this year like I said they do have some speed. I'll take the Cadets in this one.

Belpre is (1-4) vs the Cadets since this rivalry started back up in 2011. I looked it up they actually have been on of the better scoring offenses vs the Cadets scoring 20.4 ppg. Belpre did win the opener 2 years ago at Belpre. Like I said this could be Fort Fryes best team ever returning 17 Srs from a team that went 10-0.

People will realize what Tavion Miller meant to this team. He started for 4 years took them to the playoffs multiple times a leader like him will be missed.

Early in the year, it's probably going to be hot and humid . . . I think Fort Frye has more returning players. You don't think The Golden Eagles are going to run out of gas? I think Belpre is going to need to jump on The Cadets early, get a couple of defensive breaks, and hang on late.
