Thursday night game and first game of the new season always brings a nice crowd. Lots of folks from various schools will show up for this one. High of 91 degrees and going to feel like 103! Sounds like a pretty even match-up. Throw in one of the nicest venues in the area and this should be fun. Can't wait!

One thing I've learned with scrimmages, they usually never reflect the 1st game. This will be a great game with 2 YOUNG teams who will be looking to find their way. Hoping the Indians can come out on the + side of the scoreboard.

Good Luck to Coach Crabtree and the Valley Indians.

This is the first time in this matchup that Portsmouth may have not only the better athletes, but also football players on the field between these 2 teams.

Valley is young and will make mistakes, but I heard defensively they are looking better than their youth goes on the field.

Toss up!

Game will be controlled by the Trojans. Senior QB Luke Purdy and a strong Trojans line will be a tough task for a young Valley squad.

Interesting....because you must be looking at a different forecast. PLENTY of rain just a few years out.
